Automatic Proxy Detection and Communication Flow
The EDR Agent follows the following communication logic:
- Detect Proxy Settings: The agent automatically checks whether proxy settings are configured on the endpoint.
- Proxy Available: If a proxy is detected, the agent uses the detected proxy configuration to communicate with the EDR Server.
- Authentication: If the proxy requires authentication, the agent uses the available proxy credentials to establish communication.
- No Proxy Available: If no proxy settings are detected, the agent communicates directly with the EDR Server.
- Policy-Based Configuration: Administrators can override or define proxy settings through the EDR Management Console under Policy Settings.
- Updater Communication: The configured proxy settings are also used by the EDR Updater for downloading required product and security updates.

The EDR Management Console provides administrators with dedicated Proxy Settings under Policy Settings. Administrators can configure the required proxy parameters, including:
- Proxy Server Address
