Our Data Backup feature automatically backup your critical documents, providing protection against data corruption and ransomware. By default, the system selects the drive with the most available free space as the backup destination, ensuring efficient storage of user data.
AutoBackup
The AutoBackup functionality ensures regular, automatic backups of your data at 3-day intervals.
AutoBackup Settings
- Maximum File Size Allowed (MB): This setting allows users to define the maximum file size for files included in the backup.
- Files Modified Within (Days): This field specifies the number of past days the system will look back to identify recently modified files. When a value is selected, the system will only back up files that have been modified within the specified number of days from the current date.
- Example: If you select “90”, the system will back up all files that were modified within the last 90 days.
- Delete Backup: The “Delete Backup” checkbox enables users to delete all existing backup data as part of the current operation. When selected, the system will delete all associated backup files, and future automatic backups will cease from that day forward.
- File Extension Inclusion: Users can add multiple file extensions for backup by utilizing the “Enter File Extension” checkbox.
- Share Backup: The “Share Backup” feature allows users to create and store backup copies of NPDATABACKUP folders to shared network locations or FTP collaborative platforms through automatic backups.
