What is Screen Time Control ?
Net Protector Screen Time Control is a feature included in Net Protector Total Security that helps manage and limit device usage, especially for children or shared computers. In short, it allows you to:
- Set time limits for how long users can access the device.
- Restrict access during specific hours like study time or bedtime.
- Enable parental controls to promote healthier screen habits.
How to Setup NP Screen Time Control
Step 1 : Open the Net Protector Total Security Dashboard.
Step 2 : Navigate to the “Web Security” tab.

Step 3 : Click on “Parental Control” within the Web Security tab.

Step 4 : Create a user account:
- Enter the required details: Username, Password, Confirm Password, and Email.
Step 5 : Click on “Create User“.

Step 6 : Log in using the newly created Username and Password.

Step 7 : Turn ON Screen Time Control when prompted, and click Yes to confirm.

Step 8 : Click on “Screen Time Control“.

Step 9 : Select the appropriate user account for your PC.

Step 10 : Specify when the user can access the PC:
- Always allow access to PC : No restrictions; the user can use the PC anytime.

- Allow access to PC as per schedule :
- Daily access time limit : Assign a specific number of hours per day (e.g., 1–2 hours on Sunday).

- Daily access time-slot : Set a fixed time window (e.g., Monday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM).

- Daily access flexible time : Set a custom time range (e.g., Monday from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM).

Step 11 : Click on “Save Settings” to apply the schedule.
