How to shift Admin Console Server (EPS)? [LAN]

Introduction:

Sometimes user wants to format their current machine or shift from one machine to another due to some technical reasons. In that case, user need to shift their server too.

Follow the steps given below to shift their existing Admin Console server without losing any data:

Step 1: Open Admin Console window and click on 'Endpoint Security Backup link' present on the bottom-left-corner, as shown in the image below.

Step 2: The 'Backup and Restore' window will open. Now take the backup of your current Admin Console by clicking on 'Backup Now' button.

Step 3: Now sit back and relax till your backup process is completed then copy EPS folder from Backup Drive to safe location or in portable media devices.

Step 4: Right click on 'EPS tray icon' and click on 'Uninstall'.

Now the Admin Console Server is removed from your system.

To Restore Admin Console server follow the below steps:

Step 1: Install 'NPAV' then Open 'EPS Backup Folder' which you have copied, and click on 'ACCLDBKP.exe'.

Step 2: The 'Backup and Restore' window will open. Now select the latest update zip file and click on 'Restore' Button.

Step 3: Now wait till the process is completed as you will get message about Completion of Restoration process and Reboot your system.

These are the simple steps by which you can easily shift your EPS server.
