Update Status tab of Admin Console (EPS) [WEB]
Update Status is usefully to Admin because this will give the brief information about how many machines are updated and which machines still not updated to current date.
Settings related to updates are also important, by selecting proper settings machine will get updates properly.
Open web browser and enter the following site
Enter your Registered Mail ID and Password which was sent by NPAV team to your mail id and click on Login button.
Click on Menu then click on Update Status Tab
Admin Can View LicNo, IP, Machine Name, User Name, Group Name, OSName, Update Date, Last Info and so on.
To give Update related Setting, Select the machine, then Right Click on it and select Update Settings.
Update from is basically used to give Settings related to taking antivirus updates.
Here Admin can have two options like Internet and LAN
In internet setting client should be connected to Internet all the time
In LAN based setting you should give the IP or machine path from which it should take updates.
If Admin wish to give proxy servers setting then here are the three options
1:- Direct:- It Will take updates from Internet directly
2:- Auto:- It will search for any proxy server available in network and if it found then it will take the settings automatically
3:- Manual:- If admin wish to give proxy servers details manually.
Scan Memory After Update:-
If Status is YES then it will scan the client machines memory after update.
If Status is NO then it will not scan the client machines memory after update
Update Schedule Setting:
If Status is OFF then it will not give Scheduling settings of update to client machine
If Status is ON then Admin can choose at which time client machines should start update,
1:- Daily:- Machine will update daily on given time
2:- Interval:- Machine will update on given time interval.
