How to Set or Remove Client Protection Password in EPS LAN

Client Protection Password is a crucial feature for any organization. It prevents unauthorized policy changes, disables services, and prevents client uninstallation by end users


Step 1: Login to EPS Intranet

  • Go to the EPS Intranet URL: http://localhost:7777 for local access.
  • Enter your credentials and click the "Sign In" button.

Step 2: Navigate to NPAV Shield

  • After logging in, click on the "NPAV Shield" tab and select the "Shield" option.

Step 3: Select Client Machines

  • Choose the client machines on which you want to set or remove the client protection password.
  • Click on the "Settings" button.

Step 4: Set the Client Protection Password

  • To set the EPS client protection password, select the "SET" option from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Remove the Client Protection Password

  • To remove the EPS client protection password, select the "REMOVE" option from the dropdown menu.

Step 6: Save Changes

  • Click on the "SAVE" button to apply your changes.
