EPS Intranet Installation Guide

1. EPS Totally Offline Server Installation

In this article we explain to you steps how you can install Net Protector Endpoint Security server in Offline scenario.
To install EPS Server offline, please follow the steps below: 

Step 1: Download the Setup files from below link and keep them in single folder EPS Offline Installer

Step 2: Download NPAV Setup File from below link and keep these files in single folder InstallNP

Step 3: Enter your Corporate key (starts with C-...)  provided by us on mail and click on Verify button. 

Step 4: Browse LicBank.txt file in KeyBank Path option. This file will be provided on email as per validity and PC Count purchased.

Step 5: Add all your corporate details for the Create corporate id generation page, Corporate Id will be available on your mail. Click on Save Button

Step 6: Installation will be started automatically.

Step 7: After successful installation, it will automatically proceed for activation.

Step 8: After activation, it will take some time to configure server related files.

Step 9: If you wish to add password for client systems, you can add from this form, and then click on Finish button.

2. How to enable and configure Microsoft IIS for NPAV Endpoint Security (Intranet)

For Installation required-
1. Microsoft .Net Version 4.8
2. IIS Enable

a. To enable Microsoft IIS on Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10: 

  • Click Start ->Control Panel ->Programs and Features ->Turn Windows Features On or Off. If you are prompted for an administrator password type the password or provide the confirmation.
  • In the list of Windows features, click the plus sign [+] next to Internet Information Services, click the plus sign [+] next to Web Management Tools and click IIS Management Console.
  • In the list of Windows features, click the plus sign [+] next to World Wide Web Services, click the plus sign [+] next to Application Development Features and then select highlighted features shown in below configuration wizard:

b. To enable Microsoft IIS on Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2:

  • Click Start -> Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows Features On or Off. If you are prompted for an administrator password then type the password or provide the confirmation. The Windows Server Manager console will open. Now click on Add Role
  • In the Role Services window select Web Server (IIS) and click on Next
  • In the list of Windows features, click the plus sign [+] next to Internet Information Services, click the plus sign [+] next to Web Management Tools and click on IIS Management Console.
  • In the list of Windows features, click the plus sign [+] next to World Wide Web Services, click the plus sign [+] next to Application Development Features and then select the following:

  • Click on Next and click on Install. Wait for a few minutes till you see the Installation Succeeded window and then click on Close.

c. To enable Microsoft IIS on Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2:

  • Open Server Manager
  • Under the Manage -> Add Roles and Features
  • Select Role-based or Feature-based Installation
  • Select the appropriate server (local is selected by default)
  • In the Select Server Roles wizard, click on Web Server (IIS) and click Next
  • No additional features are needed for IIS in the Select Features wizard and click Next
  • In the Select Role Services wizard and in the list of Windows features select the following components:

  • Click on Next and click on Install. Wait for a few minutes till you see the Installation Succeeded window and then click on Close.

d. To enable Microsoft IIS on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP :

  • Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
  • In the Control Panel, double-click on Add or Remove Programs
  • In the Add or Remove Programs dialog box -> Add/Remove Windows Components from the left pane
  • On the Windows Components page, in the Components box, click on Application Server/Internet Information Services (IIS) and then click on Next
  • Wait for the installation to finish and then close the wizard

3. How to Install EPS - Intranet

Step 1 : Run Intranetinstaller.EXE & Click on "Next"

Step 2 : Accept the License Agreement & Click on "Next"

Step 3 : Click on "Install"

Step 4 : Wait for the installation to be completed

Step 5 : Enter "Email ID" & "Password". Click on "Finish"

Step 6:  Log in to Intranet Endpoint Security EPS (On-Premises / Self Hosted) web portal using Web browser 

e.g. using Computer Name : http://server-name:7777/  
using Domain Name : htttp://eps.smartexports.net:7777/
using IP Address : htttp://192.168.100.137:7777/
